Virtual Office Tour: Don Bily, Vice President of Services

Updated: May 18, 2020

Don is a veteran of remote work.

Like many working parents, the picture of WFH has shifted as he now finds himself supporting his children’s e-learning platform and sharing family/work obligations with his wife who also balances a full-time career. The biggest struggle? The inability to disconnect from work and the occasional interruption of his kids printing from a commercial-grade wireless printer in his office.

"In my opinion, we were ahead of the curve for this 'interruption' because of Hurricane Season and the service offerings Source 1 has. The organization as a whole has not missed a step as it pertains to the support we provide and the things we have been able to do for our customers."

When asked how Source 1 has handled the shift, Don says: "In my opinion, we were ahead of the curve for this 'interruption' because of Hurricane Season and the service offerings Source 1 has. The organization as a whole has not missed a step as it pertains to the support we provide and the things we have been able to do for our customers by offering them services they did not know they needed until this Stay at Home order. The phrase 'plan for the worst and hope for the best' is not just a passing comment anymore. Let the SMEs in your organization do what they do best and plan and strategize often. Don’t use the plan for the first time when it is needed. Use test drills and dry runs. Tweak it often for maximum effectiveness, not just to stem the tide or 'stay open' ”#AllIn#WFH
